This is the small 12V auxiliary battery, not the main high-voltage battery pack that drives the e6. It powers the lights, infotainment, and onboard computers, and is what lets the high-voltage system switch on when you press start. We do not service the main EV drive battery.
Does the e6 need any coding or registration after a 12V battery replacement? +
No, the e6 does not require any coding or registration step after the 12V battery is changed. The vehicle’s systems recognise the new battery automatically once it’s connected.
