How long does an AKIRO battery last in Singapore? +
Based on our customer feedback and repeat service calls, AKIRO batteries consistently last 2–3 years in Singapore’s climate for drivers with normal usage patterns — meaningfully longer than generic or budget brands that typically fail in 12–18 months here. Individual results vary based on driving patterns, accessories load, and how well the charging system is maintained.
Is AKIRO suitable for my Start-Stop or Continental car? +

All AKIRO batteries supplied and fitted by AAP carry a 1-year warranty covering manufacturing defects and premature failure under normal use conditions. If your AKIRO battery fails within the warranty period, call us — we’ll come to you, test the battery, and replace it at no charge if the defect is covered. An official receipt with warranty start date is issued at every installation.
Is AKIRO better than AMARON or DELKOR? +
AMARON and DELKOR are both strong, established brands and AAP stocks both. Bobby’s recommendation: for most Japanese and Korean cars in Singapore, AKIRO delivers comparable or better performance than AMARON at a similar or lower price point, with the added advantage of being specifically formulated for tropical operating conditions. That said, DELKOR is sometimes the better choice for Korean OEM specifications (certain Hyundai and Kia models that specify DELKOR from factory). We currently supply AKIRO batteries as part of our onsite replacement service only — we don’t sell batteries for self-installation. This is deliberate: battery installation in modern cars (particularly those with Start-Stop systems or Continental ECUs) involves more than just swapping a part. A proper installation includes terminal inspection, alternator testing, and battery registration where required. Having our mechanic present ensures the installation is done correctly and the warranty is valid.
