A flat tyre never happens at a convenient time. It happens in a Jurong HDB car park at 11pm, in the basement of your office building on a Friday afternoon, or in your driveway when you’re already running late. Getting the car to a workshop with a flat tyre risks serious rim damage โ€” and calling a tow truck adds cost and waiting time you don’t need.

AAP’s 24-hour mobile tyre repair service brings the workshop to you. Our technicians are equipped with professional tyre-changing machines, patching tools, and a range of replacement tyres โ€” the same equipment you’d find in a workshop, fitted into our fully-kitted mobile units. We assess your tyre onsite, repair it if possible, and replace it if not. You stay with your car and drive away when we’re done.

Whether you have a slow puncture, a blowout, sidewall damage, or simply no spare tyre, call us โ€” we’ll have the right solution with us when we arrive.

Our Mobile Tyre Services โ€” What We Can Do Onsite

All services performed at your location. No workshop visit required.

๐Ÿ”ง Tyre Puncture Repair (Patching)

For punctures caused by nails, screws, or sharp objects that have entered the tread area. Our technicians remove the object, inspect the inner liner, and apply a professional mushroom plug-patch from the inside โ€” the only repair method that meets safety standards. A properly patched tyre is as safe as a new one.

๐Ÿ”„ Onsite Tyre Replacement

When a tyre cannot be safely repaired โ€” due to sidewall damage, a puncture over 6mm, or excessive wear โ€” we replace it with a new tyre onsite. We carry a selection of replacement tyres to fit common car models. Call us with your tyre size and we’ll confirm availability before dispatch.

๐Ÿš— Spare Tyre Fitting

If your car has a spare tyre in the boot and you’re unsure how to change it yourself โ€” or you don’t want to risk doing it incorrectly โ€” we’ll fit it properly, torque the wheel nuts to spec, and check the spare’s pressure before you drive away.

๐Ÿ›ž Spare Tyre Loan

If your car doesn’t come with a spare tyre and we don’t have your exact replacement size in stock, we can loan you a temporary spare to get you safely to a tyre workshop. Subject to availability โ€” call us to check.

๐Ÿ” Tyre Inspection & Pressure Check

If you’re unsure whether your tyre needs a repair or replacement, we’ll assess it onsite. We check tread depth, sidewall condition, and inflation pressure โ€” and give you an honest recommendation. If it can be safely repaired, we repair it. If it needs replacing, we’ll tell you clearly why.

โšก Combined Tyre + Battery Service

AAP is one of the few roadside services in Singapore that handles both flat tyres AND flat batteries. If your car has a tyre problem and also won’t start, call us once โ€” we can bring both tyre and battery solutions in a single callout. No need to coordinate two separate services.

How Our Mobile Tyre Repair Works

From your call to driving away โ€” here’s exactly what happens.

1
Call or WhatsApp 8683 6878

Tell us your location, car model, and the issue (flat tyre, blowout, slow puncture, or no spare). If you know your tyre size (printed on the tyre sidewall โ€” e.g. 205/55R16), share it so we can confirm we have the right replacement tyre on the van. We confirm your ETA and provide a quote on the call.

2
We arrive in 20โ€“40 minutes with full equipment

Our mobile unit carries a professional tyre-changing machine, torque wrench, patching kit, air compressor, tread depth gauge, and a selection of common replacement tyres. We come to your exact spot โ€” whether that’s your driveway, a roadside parking area, or a multi-storey car park.

3
Tyre assessed and solution confirmed

The technician inspects the damage โ€” puncture location, size, sidewall condition, and tread depth. Based on the assessment, we recommend either a repair (patch) or replacement, and explain clearly which is appropriate and why. You confirm before we proceed.

4
Repair or replacement completed in 15โ€“30 minutes

For puncture repairs, the tyre is removed from the rim, the inner liner inspected, and a mushroom plug-patch applied from the inside. For replacements, the old tyre is dismounted and the new tyre fitted and inflated to the correct pressure for your car. Wheel nuts torqued to specification.

5
Final checks, payment, and you’re on your way

We check all four tyres’ pressures before leaving, not just the one we worked on. An official receipt is issued. Payment accepted via Cash or PayNow โ€” collected after the job is complete. No deposit required.

Repair or Replace? How We Decide

Not every flat tyre needs a new one โ€” but some genuinely do. Here’s the honest breakdown.

Common Causes of Flat Tyres on Singapore Roads

Singapore’s roads are well-maintained, but these hazards still catch drivers regularly.

Nails and screws from construction sites Singapore has ongoing construction islandwide. Nails and screws falling from trucks and construction vehicles are the single most common cause of punctures โ€” particularly near BTO sites, industrial areas, and areas undergoing MRT expansion works.
Road kerb contact in multi-storey car parks Tight turning radii in HDB and shopping mall car parks cause sidewall contact with kerbs and ramps โ€” especially in low-profile tyres common on German and Japanese sedans. Sidewall damage from kerb impact is not repairable and requires replacement.
Underinflation in Singapore’s heat In our tropical climate, tyre pressure fluctuates more than in temperate countries. Underinflated tyres flex excessively, generate heat, and wear out the sidewall faster โ€” eventually leading to blowouts. Check your tyre pressure monthly, not just when they look flat.
Potholes and road debris after rain Heavy tropical downpours can wash debris onto roads and conceal potholes. Impact from hitting a pothole can cause a sidewall bubble or even an immediate blowout โ€” particularly on performance and low-profile tyres. If you notice the car pulling to one side or a sudden vibration, pull over safely at the earliest opportunity.
Old or worn tyres past their service life Singapore’s heat degrades rubber faster than in cooler climates. Tyres over 5 years old (check the DOT date on the sidewall) become brittle and prone to cracking, even if the tread looks fine. Age matters as much as wear โ€” we’ll check this during our onsite inspection.
Faulty valve stem A slow, gradual loss of pressure with no visible puncture is often a cracked or loose valve stem โ€” a quick and inexpensive fix that many drivers mistake for a slow puncture. We check this during every callout.

What to Do When You Get a Flat Tyre in Singapore

Stay calm โ€” here’s what to do while you wait for us to arrive.

๐Ÿข If you’re in a car park or HDB estate
  1. Do not drive the car further โ€” even 50 metres on a flat tyre can damage the rim
  2. Note your exact location: car park name, block, floor, and lot number
  3. Switch on your hazard lights so you’re visible
  4. Check if your car has a spare tyre in the boot (lift the boot floor)
  5. Call or WhatsApp us at 8683 6878 โ€” we’ll come to your exact spot
๐Ÿ  If you’re at home or near your office
  1. Leave the car where it is โ€” don’t attempt to move it further
  2. Share your full address or drop us a WhatsApp pin
  3. We’ll confirm ETA and come fully equipped โ€” no need to arrange anything else
โš ๏ธ Things NOT to do
  • Don’t continue driving on a flat tyre โ€” you’ll destroy the rim and potentially the wheel
  • Don’t use a can of tyre sealant (e.g. Tyreweld) if you want the tyre patched โ€” it contaminates the inner liner and makes a proper repair impossible
  • Don’t try to change the tyre yourself in a tight or unsafe space โ€” call us instead

How to Make Your Tyres Last Longer in Singapore

Singapore’s heat is unusually hard on tyres. These habits add months to your tyre life.

Check pressure monthly

Singapore’s temperature swings between morning and noon can cause pressure to fluctuate by 2โ€“3 PSI. Check cold (before driving) using the figure on your car’s door sticker โ€” not what’s printed on the tyre itself.

Rotate every 10,000 km

Front tyres wear faster on front-wheel-drive cars (most Japanese and Korean sedans). Rotating tyres every 10,000 km ensures even wear and extends the set’s life by 20โ€“30%.

Check tread depth

Singapore law requires a minimum of 1.6mm across the central three-quarters of the tread width. At 3mm in the wet season, braking distances increase significantly. Replace before you reach the legal limit โ€” not after.

Replace at 5 years regardless of tread

Singapore’s UV and heat degrade rubber compounds even on lightly-used tyres. Check the DOT code on the tyre sidewall (last 4 digits = week and year of manufacture). Tyres over 5 years old should be replaced even if they look fine.

Avoid kerb contact

Sidewall damage from kerb contact is the second most common cause of tyre replacement in Singapore. Take it slow through tight car park turns โ€” particularly if you drive a low-profile performance tyre.

Don’t overload your car

Overloading increases heat buildup inside the tyre, accelerating wear and increasing blowout risk. Every car has a maximum load rating on the door sticker โ€” stay within it, especially with five adults or heavy luggage on long journeys.

Why Choose AAP for Mobile Tyre Repair?

We’re primarily known for car battery replacement โ€” but our tyre service is built on exactly the same standards.

โšก

Genuine 20โ€“40 Min ETA

We give you a real time estimate based on your location, not a vague promise. Our teams are stationed across all five regions of Singapore.

๐Ÿ”ง

Professional Repair Method

We use mushroom plug-patches applied from the inside โ€” the only method that fully seals both the tread and inner liner. We don’t use roadside string plugs that only seal the tread surface.

๐Ÿ’ฌ

Honest Assessment

We won’t tell you a tyre needs replacing if it can be safely repaired. We also won’t patch a tyre that shouldn’t be โ€” and we’ll explain clearly why. No upselling, no pressure.

๐Ÿ”‹

Tyre + Battery in One Call

We’re Singapore’s only 24-hour service that handles both flat tyres AND flat batteries with the same callout. If your car has both problems, one call to us is all you need.

๐Ÿ“‹

Transparent Pricing

Mobile Tyre Repair โ€” Frequently Asked Questions

Answered by the AAP team

How much does a mobile tyre repair cost in Singapore? +

A puncture patch repair typically costs between S$30โ€“S$60 depending on the tyre type and accessibility. A full tyre replacement varies based on the tyre size and brand โ€” call us with your tyre size (e.g. 205/55R16) and we’ll quote you on the spot. All prices include onsite labour and there is no call-out surcharge regardless of time of day.

Is a patched tyre safe to drive on? +

Yes โ€” when done correctly. A mushroom plug-patch applied from the inside fully seals both the tread puncture and the inner liner, and is the industry-standard repair method endorsed by tyre manufacturers. A properly patched tyre in the tread area can be driven indefinitely at normal speeds and loads. We do not recommend or use exterior-only string plugs, which only seal the tread surface without addressing the inner liner.

Can you repair a tyre with sidewall damage? +

No. Sidewall damage โ€” including cuts, bulges, and bubbles โ€” cannot be safely repaired regardless of size. The sidewall is the structural part of the tyre that flexes under load; any repair would fail under driving conditions and create a blowout risk. If your tyre has sidewall damage, it must be replaced.

I used a can of tyre sealant (Tyreweld / Fix-a-Flat) โ€” can you still patch it? +

Unfortunately, no. Tyre sealant foam coats the inner liner of the tyre and makes it impossible to apply a proper patch โ€” the adhesive will not bond to the contaminated surface. If you’ve used sealant, the tyre will need to be replaced. This is why we strongly advise against using sealant cans as a temporary fix if you intend to have the tyre patched later.

Do you carry replacement tyres for all car models? +

We carry a selection of the most common tyre sizes used by Japanese, Korean, and Continental passenger cars in Singapore. Rarer sizes (very large SUV tyres, performance tyres, or run-flat tyres) may not be available onsite โ€” call us with your tyre size and we’ll confirm before dispatch so there are no surprises when we arrive.

How long does a mobile tyre repair take? +

A puncture patch typically takes 15โ€“20 minutes once our technician arrives. A full tyre replacement takes 20โ€“30 minutes depending on the wheel and car type. The total time from your call to driving away is typically under 60 minutes.

Do you charge extra for late-night or public holiday callouts? +

No. The price quoted on the phone is the same at 3am on Christmas Day as it is at noon on a Tuesday. There are no after-hours surcharges, no call-out fees, and no emergency premiums. What we quote is what you pay.

Can you handle both my flat tyre and dead battery in one visit? +

Yes โ€” this is one of AAP’s key advantages. We are equipped to handle both tyre issues and battery issues in a single callout. Tell us about both problems when you call and we’ll bring the right equipment for everything. No need to call a separate service.
